Sex SG classic vs. Les Paul Jr. (fadded) ?? - Gibson USA - Gibson Brands Forums Bilder
I am brand new to the board this am 'Mornin! I am in the market for a new guitar. Faddd just sold a 72 reissue tele that I just was not playing. I am looking at a couple different options and I am torn between a Les Paul Jr. My Fased thoughts are that although I love the look of the Jr's, the fit and finishes Gibson Les Paul Junior Faded the "faded" models seem to be lacking. Like a cutting board with some electronics bolted onto it.
Thanks for the input. Yeah, the Tele was a pretty cool guitar. It was an MIM Tele and was great for what it was. I have an older Les Paul Studio that I love. So I sold it to a guy who was pretty jazzed about his new purchase.
I hope that he enjoys it. Easy come easy go! Now I have the exciting task of buying myself a "new" guitar. This might not be what your looking for, but some ish les paul specials are equipped with p's or p's although I honestly couldn't tell you the difference sound great for around dollars used, and to my knowing they are rather easy to find in a used store.
I went with the SG Classic. It is a very well made guitar and has those two P90's that crunch a bunch. It is also Junoir comfortable either sitting or standing. Being a big junior fan I would normally say junior. I have an 08 Classic that's customized here and it really is a sweet guitar.
Others love them and that's perfectly fine. I prefer the 60's profile but that's Serene Siren me. I replaced the P's with a Dimarzio Virtual P in the neck great for blues in the rhytm position and a Dimarzio P Tone Zone in the bridge, one of my favorite pups The factory frets are groomed and the capacitor is changed to an. I also have all the cavaties foiled with grounding tape.
I think you made a great choice and you'll grow to love that classic. Plenty of sustain and it's really a sharp looker. I've stood by Dimarzios sicne the middle of the 70's I think, thanks for the Junkor. Check out this melody maker I just finished. Thanks again, the pup Gibson Les Paul Junior Faded a Gibson T, I love ceramic It's simple yet it can run with the big boys. There's something magical about a melody maker that's hard to Gibson Les Paul Junior Faded, maybe it's the simplicity, and of course it's easier on the back Pau shoulders Glad i have someone normal to chat with here.
Man that Green Day talk was getting out of hand, heck I thought it was a music forum not a shrink couch Thanks for all of your prompt replies. So I think I am sold on the SG classic. Oddly enough another SG classic has surfaced on my local CL. One is Black with Kluson style tuners. The owner swapped the vol. Unfortunately the original knobs do not fit on the new poles. What will be the impact of the K pots?
I am assuming that with all things "tone" related it is chalked up to personal preference whether the K pots or the upgraded k pot are "better" with the P's. The other SG Pajl has popped up is a Fadex made "walnut" color.
This is a pretty sweet Big Boobs Webcam, original guitar however it has the "cheaper" looking plastic oval tuners. I assume those are really pretty similar to the Kluson style. I'm assuming by ovalshaped tuners you're talking about Grover Rotomatics. Those are great tuners.

Xxx Sex Video would say the SG Classic just for the fact you mentioned on the faded.
The finish on the fade wears off very quickly down to bare wood. If you want a LP Gibson Les Paul Junior Faded I would Pul for used one with the Gloss finish I have seen them go for used in good shape.
You didn't Luenell Penthouse the Tele? I got one last summer at a garage sale and love it.

Beautiful Classic Doublecut, with Dimarzio's also nice. What pup is in the MM? The pick guard really sets it off another beauty.
